When playing multiplayer, players can fuse special attacks to form Super Duper combos. Lastly, Marv’s special attack is Time Slow, which slows down time to allow players to dodge enemies, and his ship has less firepower and strength, but a lot more speed. Lucio’s Bear Shield can be deployed to protect players from enemy fire, and his ship has a stronger hull, but it moves at a slower speed. Felicity’s Double Bullets gun allows players to shoot at a rapid pace, and her ship has more firepower, but has a weaker hull. As Barker, players can use his Frenemy bullets to turn enemies into allies, and his ship equally balances firepower, strength, and speed.
Įach animal hero has a special attack and unique specs. Players can work together to clear levels, while simultaneously competing for the highest score amongst themselves. After clearing missions, a tally screen shows which player defeated the most Dark Tide enemies, which player collected the most plutonium coins, and which player revived the most teammates.
